Kevin Krieger has commenced his PhD studies on the ‘Development of Flexible Microneedle Electrodes as Wearable Sensors for Long-Term Evaluation of Dynamic Muscle Performance’. The aim is to develop next-generation electrode sensors for use in smart wearable devices. The project is in collaboration with Professor Conor Walsh at Harvard University. Funding is provided by the Irish Research Council as Kevin was awarded the Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship 2015 for his research proposal.
