Paulina Eberts

Paulina EbertsPaulina Eberts is a fourth year studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame with a concentration in Biomolecular Engineering. Her previous research endeavors have involved examination of the regulatory network that determines cell growth control within fruit flies, development of vignetting correction techniques for various microscopy applications, the application of high performance liquid chromatography to detect the presence of substandard drugs in Eldoret, Kenya and work pertaining to three dimensional tissue histology and multiplex imaging.

Paulina has joined the UCD Medical Device Design Group for the summer of 2016 as an Undergraduate Naughton Fellow. She is working alongside PhD student, Ellen Cahill, on the development of microneedles for use in delivery and continuous monitoring devices.
